Teaching Matters: Science of Learning National Summit
Teaching Matters is a multi-day professional learning event where educators from across the nation will come together to learn about the science of learning, high impact teaching practice and knowledge rich curriculum; and how it can be leveraged to improve their teaching, and the learning outcomes of students. As part of the event, there will be keynote presentations from highly credible experts in the field, Q&A’s and networking opportunities.

We are thrilled to include the Premier of Tasmania, Jeremy Rockliff, in the Teaching Matters: Science of Learning National Summit Program!
Jeremy is a proud North West Tasmanian who grew up on the family farm at Sassafras. He received a Diploma in Farm Management from New Zealand’s Lincoln University. Jeremy has a strong empathy with community organisations, including Lifeline North West and Natural Resource Management. In 2002 he became an MP for Braddon and in 2014, was appointed Deputy Premier in the Liberal Government. He became Premier of Tasmania in April 2022.
